Linda Torres Rodriguez

Linda Torres Rodriguez, age 73, passed away March 3, 2022, unexpectedly from a stroke. A private viewing was held March 4 at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. 

Linda was born in Williamson County, Texas, to Martin and Felicia (Faye) Torres of Boerne. She graduated from Boerne High School in 1966. 

One of her passions in life was attending sporting events with her mom and dad supporting the local high school teams. She visited her children often and helped care for both of her parents. 

She also enjoyed being a special needs bus monitor for Boerne ISD. She will be remembered for the special bond that she had with her aunts (Mary Helen Stringer and Esther Villarreal) and her children. Her favorite moments included gatherings with the entire family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Torres Jr. She is survived by her mother; daughter Sophia Rodriguez (Mark Nesby) of Arden, North Carolina; son Nicholas Rodriguez (Melissa) of Leander, Texas; grandchildren Kristen Mathews and Madison and Mackenzie Rodriguez; great-granddaughter Aria Mathews; brother Martin A. Torres (Lori); sisters Monica Webb (Greg) and Esther Torres (Jesus Huerta), all of Boerne; along with numerous nieces/nephews.
