Greyhound golfers at Brandeis tournament

The Boerne High boys and girls golf teams were both entered in the Brandeis Toys for Tots Invitational held at the Fair Oaks Ranch courses before the Christmas break.

The boys played the Blackjack course and the girls played the Live Oak course.

Boys

The BHS boys finished at 44-over par for 12th in the field of 30 teams.

Jordan Smith led the BHS boys team after he came in with a 78 for 6-over par. Brackston Pitts finished 8 over with an 80, Vincent Namvar was 13-over par 85 and Mark Bannwolf was 17 over with an 89, while Crew Baldwin was one spot back at 18-over par 90.

Girls

The Lady Greyhounds were sixth in the field of 19 teams with a 72-over par.

Alex Casas finished 10-over par to tie for 12th with an 82, Rhaynn Tuschinski carded an 89, Lila Sherrill shot a 94, Hannah Vance was one spot back at 95, while Ria Patel shot a 102.

Also, Jillian Balderas played for BHS and finished with a 102 and Emma Bird was in at 107. Both Balderas and Bird played as individual medalists.
