Jeanette Riley, age 88, passed away in Boerne, on Sunday, December 31,2023. She was born February 13, 1935, in Brownsville, Texas.

Jeanette was a believer in Jesus Christ and was a prayer warrior. She was a member of the Boerne Church of Christ. Jeanette was a member of the Red Hats and a longtime member of the Sweet Adelines. She loved entertaining, singing, playing the piano and organ.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Berdie Jane Shockley Elliott; and son, Arden Elliott Lamb.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Riley, of Fair Oaks Ranch; one sister, Beverly Elliott of Louisville Kentucky; three children, Leesa Lamb, Richard Riley, and Ralph Riley, and his wife, Teresa; three grandchildren, Amanda Knight, and her husband Stephan, Lauren Burton, and Kyle Riley; and great-grandchildren Harlow and Noah Knight, and Liliana Bowen; and nephew Dennis Elliott.

A Visitation will be held at the Boerne Church of Christ on Saturday, January 13, 2023, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. She will then be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
