Geneva School of Boerne had several football players earn postseason awards for their performance this past season.
K.P. FitzGerald was named TAPPS Second Team All-State wide receiver, while FitzGerald was also Honorable Mention All-State on defense as a secondary player, while linebacker Jake Plesko was also HM All-State on defense.
Additionally, Jacob Rosenstiel, FitzGerald, Stephen Syamken and Walker Cone were first-team all-district offensive selections.
Rosenstiel was listed as Athlete, FitzGerald as a wide receiver, Syamken as an offensive lineman and Cone as a kicker.
Defensively, linebacker Plesko, defensive lineman Syamken and secondary player FitzGerald were first-team all-district.
Offensive lineman Luke Brunsvold, running back Noah Brunsvold, wide receiver Brady Chandler and wide receiver JonMichael Raimondo were second- team offensive selections.
Defensive lineman Grant Morgan, linebacker Reid Wilson, secondary player Brady Chandler, secondary player Jacob Rosenstiel and punter Walker Cone were second-team all-district.
Honorable mention all-district picks for the Eagles on offense include Caleb Quitadamo, Reid Wilson, Joshua Patteson, Josh Dennis, Reid Wilson and Reid Aderholt.
HM all-district defensive selections for Geneva include Caleb Baggs, Patteson, Griffin Miller, Gray Bruner, JonMichael Raimondo and Jackson Mitchell.
Additionally, Walker Cone, KP FitzGerald, Nick Nowosiwsky and Jake Plesko were Academic All-State.
Geneva finished the year at 7-5 overall and went 2-1 in district. The Eagles went two rounds deep in the playoffs this year. They beat Brentwood Christian before falling to Houston Cypress Christian under first-year Geneva coach Grant Gaston.
