Champion secured second place in the District 26-5A girls soccer race on Friday night and looked impressive in the process.
The Lady Chargers defeated Seguin, 8-0, and are 11-3 in district and 14-3-2 overall. Champion has two matches left in the regular season and they host Kerrville Tivy on Tuesday night before closing it out on Friday at Buda Johnson.
Defending state champs Dripping Springs won this year’s district title.
