With a district title already locked up, the Boerne High boys soccer team is looking to fine tune in its last two district matches.
The Greyhounds looked pretty sharp Friday when they defeated Great Hearts Northern Oaks as part of a doubleheader with the girls team.
BHS recorded an 8-0 win and improves to 19-2-1 overall and 11-0 in district. The Hounds are off for spring break and return to the field on Monday, March 21, when they play Bandera before opening the playoffs.
Jake Herman and Landon Murphy both finished with 2 goals each, Bear Kelly, Justin Moore, Joe Ballenger and Adrian Cuervo all knocked in 1 goal each.
Hudson Vickery, Kelly, Adrian Cuervo and Murphy recorded 1 assist apiece and Juan Castro has 2 assists in the match.
