A note from Star General Manager Keith E. Domke

The Boerne Star is slightly increasing its subscription rates. We’re experiencing the same inflation spikes as you are and it has affected the price and availability of newsprint, ink and other critical supplies.

The Boerne Star is slightly increasing its subscription rates. We’re experiencing the same inflation spikes as you are and it has affected the price and availability of newsprint, ink and other critical supplies.

It remains our mission to give you a quality and local product twice every week, and we will continue to do so.

Regular subscription rates are increasing just $5 a year to $65 for Kendall County residents, or less than 5 cents per edition. Out-of-county rates and out-of-Texas rates also are increasing $5 a year to $75 and $85, respectively.

Seniors over age 65 will see a $4 annual rate increase to $59, or only about 4 cents per issue.

In addition, The Star no longer will be offering twoyear subscriptions.

The regular newsstand price will remain at $1.

The new regular subscription rate averages out to only 63 cents per issue to have access to Kendall County’s best and most thorough source of local news and information, both in print and online.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. And if you have any questions, please call our office at 830-249-2441.

Thank you for your continued support and for subscribing. It remains an honor and a privilege to serve you and partner with you and this wonderful community.
