Six Comfort volleyball players earned postseason awards after their performance during the 2023 season, one of them earning a superlative award.
Freshman Tindall Ahrens was named the Newcomer in District 5-3A.
Junior Hope Van Geffen and junior Ansley Hill were both named to the first team, while senior Katie Haffner, junior Natalia Martinez and sophomore Corrine Brown all landed on the second team.
Comfort ended its year with a record of 17-15-1 and 4-6 in District 5-3A. The Deer made the playoffs as the No. 4 seed and were defeated in the first round by Clyde in a match played in Comfort after they won the flip to host.
