Geneva swimmers in action at Blossom

Members of the Geneva School of Boerne swim team competed at the Progressive Fall Sprint held Dec. 8 at Blossom in San Antonio.

RESULTS (Top 10)

Abigail Bussey won the girls 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:14.10, Haylee Parnell came in 5th in the race at 2:23.51, Raquel Moerdyk was 6th in 2:29.64 and Malyn Arnold placed 10th in 2:38.20.

Luke Horton finished 3rd in the boys 200 free after clocking in at 2:06.04 and Reid Wilson came in 3rd in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:28.30.

Haylee Parnell won the girls 50-yard freestyle after posting a 29.17 and Malyn Arnold was 3rd in 29.93, while Luke Horton placed 5th in the boys 50 free.

Abigail Bussey posted a time of 1:08.75 to win the girls 100 butterfly, Raquel Moerdyk finished 5th in the race with a 1:21.29, while Luke Horton came in 4th in the boys 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.85.

Abigail Bussey won another race and was 1st in the 100-yard freestyle after recording a 1:03.24, Haylee Parnell came in 3rd at 1:05.53 and Malyn Arnold was 5th with a 1:10.11.

In the boys 100-yard freestyle, Reid Wilson took 6th in the after clocking in at 59.26.

Abigail Bussey claimed her fourth race of the event after she was 1st in the 100yard backstroke after posting a 1:10.84 and Malyn Arnold finished 10th in 1:26.64.

Reid Wilson posted a 1:08.02 for 5th in the boys 100 backstroke and Luke Horton was 6th in 1:08.70.

In the girls 100-yard breaststroke, Haylee Parnell recorded a 1:19.04 for 2nd and Reid Wilson was 3rd in the boys 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.26.
