LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT December 6

6:11 a.m., Herff Road/Esser Road – A caller reported an off-duty law enforcement officer had attempted to run him off the road.

10:24 a.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported vandalism had occurred at the location.

12:07 p.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported they had received threatening messages via Facebook and various other online platforms.

2:27 p.m., 100 block of Lake View Drive – A caller reported a male with binoculars on his property. When asked, the male said he was with the city and was surveying the property. However, the caller contacted the city who said they didn’t have anyone at the location.

7:59 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported two males who were in the process of shoplifting.

8:00 p.m., 200 block of Lone Tree – A caller was concerned about a vehicle driving very slowly around the area, with all of the windows down, looking around.

December 7

12:00 a.m., Lake View Drive/Ranger Creek Road – A caller reported a sports car was speeding through the neighborhood.

12:28 a.m., FM 474/Adler Road – After a long night out, a cow was reported to be moo-ving erratically off and on the road.

8:55 a.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A good citizen reported finding a bank card that had been lost during Dickens on Main.

9:02 a.m., 200 block of Cold River – A caller wanted to report an instance of identity theft.

12:00 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a male and female who came into the location and were refusing to leave.

10:08 p.m., 1500 block of River Road – A caller reported receiving two phone calls where the caller was threatened that they were going to be robbed.

December 8

6:10 a.m., miler marker 538 W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a freightliner had hit the caller’s vehicle and continued driving.

8:14 a.m., mile marker 540 E. I-10 – A caller reported that a vehicle had blown a tire and continued driving. The driver continued on the side of the road and a second caller informed dispatch that the driver was laughing.

3:56 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported her son’s former significant other was threatening the caller. The caller said the threats had gone as far as threatening to kill the caller.

5:24 p.m., 500 block of S. Main Street – A duck attempting to cross the road was causing a bit of a traffic jam.

6:18 p.m., River Road/Esser Road – Law enforcement was notified of a vehicle with a stolen license plate traveling in the area.

December 9

a.m., 100 block of Clear Sky – A caller reported a male at the location who was “too drunk.” Another caller the drunk individual -- reported that his friend was attempting to kick him out. Law enforcement came out to the location.

10:15 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported a kitten had gotten stuck under/inside a vehicle. Animal Control was contacted for assistance.

11:00 a.m., 100 block of City Park – A caller reported someone had broken their vehicle’s window when attempting to break in.

11:50 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – Two males were reported to be playing fake violins in the parking lot and were asking for money.

12:00 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported that someone had cut her tire while she was shopping.

12:26 p.m., 100 block of City Park – A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into and his wife’s purse had been stolen 3:01 p.m., 100 block of Winding River – A caller reported five or six males were skateboarding in the pool area, despite just spending thousands of dollars to repair the area.

December 10

7:56 a.m., 500 block of Adler Road – A city employee reported someone had vandalized seats at the park.

12:52 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported seeing a male who was riding his bicycle and dragging his dog, who was on a leash, behind him.

1:17 p.m., at Main Plaza – A market day vendor reported a family, carrying a large posterboard, was going around asking people for money.

December 11

2:55 a.m., 100 block of Oak Park – A caller reported hearing a loud banging in the area. The caller was also concerned because of a suspicious vehicle he had seen in the area.

8:50 a.m., mile marker 540 W. I-10 – Two vehicles were involved in an accident, resulting in one of the vehicles being totaled. One of the drivers was complaining of back pain. Two wreckers were required for the accident.

10:15 a.m., 100 block of Crosspoint Foad – A caller reported someone had stolen a money order.

10:49 a.m., Shooting Club Road – A caller received a phone call that his credit card had been compromised.

11:27 a.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported a male and female were having an argument outside. The caller informed dispatch that the male, who was in his underwear, had hit the female.

6:06 p.m., 34000 block of E. I-10 – A male was detained and taken into custody after a traffic stop. A tow truck was called for his vehicle.

December 12

1:24 a.m., 100 block of Jolie – A caller was concerned about an occupied vehicle that was near the caller’s house.

12:35 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported his phone had been stolen the night before. The employee also had video surveillance footage of the incident.

1:49 p.m., 100 block of Lohmann Street – A caller from out-of-state was on the phone with a local resident when there was loud noise, and the line went dead. The caller couldn’t get the resident back on the phone and was concerned.

2:28 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – An employee reported another employee had stolen more things than they had initially thought.

10:13 p.m., 37000 block of E. I-10 – A vehicle with six occupants triggered a K9 alert, resulting in a probable cause search and one of the males being detained.
