CALENDAR OF EVENTS: DECEMBER 17 - DECEMBER 24

DECEMBER 17

* Cowboy Christmas Market Days, Main Plaza, open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Find a unique last-minute gift at the annual Cowboy Christmas Market. It will be bustling with booths featuring everything from collectibles to modern innovations that bring a smile of wonder to those who stroll past. * Last-Minute Christmas Shopping Market from noon-4 p.m. at the Dog & Pony Grill, 1481 S. Main St. Still need to pick up gifts for the whole family? There will be lots of great vendors and a Santa & Pony pop-up from Betz Photography to get all your cute holiday photos. * Calabrian Christmas at La Calabria Pizzeria, 390 Hermann Sons Road in Comfort. Beginning at noon, come enjoy pizza, pasta and wine while your kids meet Santa Claus and enjoy the bounce house. There will also be live music and snow. Toy drive donations will be accepted.

* Last Minute Christmas Market, from 1-6 p.m. at Boerne Post Haus, 615 S Main St. Suite 200. Come get some last-minute shopping done. There will be food, gifts and crafts. Free entry. * Longest Night Service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mark Presbyterian,208 W. Bandera Road. The Longest Night services are held near the longest night of the year. The service will be in the sanctuary and will include quiet music, times of silence, scripture readings, prayer and the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one.

DECEMBER 20

The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will close beginning

December 20 for the holiday season and reopen January 2, 2024.

DECEMBER 23

* Kick off the holidays and let off some steam at The Roundup's annual Christmas Bash with Mario Flores and the Soda Creek Band. Free show; all ages welcome. Doors will open at 6 p.m. at 531 FM 3351, Boerne.

DECEMBER 24

* Christmas in the City, Main Plaza, 6-7 p.m. nineteen:ten church loves Christmas on so many levels: great food, dazzling lights, the spirit of joy that is in the air. But most of all the opportunity to celebrate a baby who came to change history; to save the world. There will be great music, an inspiring message, free hot cocoa, and a candlelight celebration of Jesus’ birth.
