Nina Rosheger

October 10, 1926 – November 30, 2023

Rosheger

Nina Lee (nee Norman) Rosheger went to be with our Lord on November 30, 2023, at the age of 97.

She was born on October 10, 1926, in Bozeman, Montana, as the second of four children to Mayvid (nee Lestrud) and Hugo Walter Norman.

She is survived by her children, Vincent Nick Rosheger Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia, Christiane and Jonathan Rosheger of Rome, Italy, Sara and Peter Rosheger of Highland Park, Illinois, Perri and John Rosheger of Boerne, Texas, and James Rosheger of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Ela and Adriele Rosheger, Ruama and Matt Kruse, Sydney and Giosia Rosheger, Rachel Rosheger, Esther Rosheger, Hannah Rosheger, Cristina Rosheger, and Vincent Rosheger; and great-grandchildren, Jedida Rosheger, Manaen Rosheger and Ember Rosheger. Nina Lee grew up in Montana’s Gallatin Valley and attended a one-room schoolhouse until she and her sister moved to town to attend high school in Bozeman, where she also completed a nursing degree from Montana State University.

She was interested in using her profession for the mission field and moved to Chicago in the late 1940s to pursue Bible training at Moody Bible Institute, where she met and married Vincent N. Rosheger Sr. (1925-2018).

In 1953, they joined Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) and pursued a life on the mission field with strong support from Grace Bible Church in Bozeman, the congregation that her family helped establish. Their work took them to Rome, Italy, Kenai, Alaska, and Vienna, Austria. They retired from SGA in 1987 to her family home in Bozeman, where they continued to minister locally and abroad until they moved to Boerne, Texas in 2009 to be near family.
