Comfort traveled to Dilley Tuesday night for a girls basketball game and came away with its biggest win of the year.
The Deer defeated the Lady Wolves by 33 points, 40-7. With the victory, the Deer improved to 5-11 on the season. They traveled to Fox Tech on Friday.
Comfort was up 14-0 by the end of the first quarter and won the second, 10-3, for the 24-3 halftime lead.
The Deer outscored the Wolves in the third, 6-1, for the 30-4 advantage. Comfort closed it out by winning the fourth quarter, 10-3.
Rachel Adams had a strong game with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Katie Haffner finished with 8 points, 4 steals and 3 assists, Jael Hernandez recorded 6 points, 10 steals and 3 assists, Hannah Adams tallied 4 points and had 2 steals, while Molly Gowan and Danielle Ruelas both scored 2.
