Five Boerne Champion volleyball players were named to the 26-5A All-District volleyball team after their play during the 2023 season.
Senior Raylynn Pitts was the lone Charger on the first team, while junior Briley Wolff and freshman Brielle Boothe were named to the second team.
Two more Chargers, senior Ryann Michalec and sophomore Taylor Fenton, landed on the honorable mention team.
Champion finished this past season at 21-19 overall and 5-9 in district under first-year Chargers coach Kelly McDaniel.
Champion was fighting for a playoff spot until the very end of the season but ended up tied for fifth in 26-5A, one place removed from grabbing one of four spots up for grabs.
