The Comfort boys basketball team hosted Center Point Tuesday night and won in convincing fashion.
Comfort pounded the Pirates, 86-33, and improved to 2-1 overall. The Bobcats will compete at the Harper Tournament this weekend.
Comfort was up 20-7 after one and hit in double digits all four quarters. They outscored the Pirates 24-11 in the second and took a 44-18 lead into halftime.
The Cats had their best quarter of the night in the third after they tallied 31 points and held the Pirates to just 4 points to open up a 75-22 advantage.
Both teams finished out the game by scoring 11 points in the fourth period.
Comfort had three in double figures after Jovani Zapata netted 14, Jackson Dear scored 12 and Santos Hernandez added 11, while Jared Valadez was one point shy of double digits with 9.
Joel Lozano, Jaydin Steward and Terick Rodriguez all chipped in with 8 points, Gio Lopez recorded 6 and Daniel Adams and Landon Aguirre came up with 5 points apiece.
