The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team was on the road Tuesday and picked up a big win at Austin Regents.
Geneva won the game, 78-13, and improved its record to 7-2.
The Eagles are off until next week when they host St. Michael’s on Tuesday.
Maegan Riebel led the Eagles with 20 points, Kyra Petty and Hailey Kirchner finished with 11 points apiece, Madeline Egbert and Bethany DeLuna both scored 8, Lindsay Lee and Morgan Howard chipped in with 5 points each, Payton Boles and Grace Detterick both scored 4, while Sopris Oglesby added 2.
Riebel also contributed 11 steals and 5 assists, while Egbert snagged a team-high 6 rebounds.
Geneva boys
The Geneva boys team tangled with St. Mary’s Hall Tuesday in San Antonio and won, 63-47.
Geneva improved its record to 6-2 overall and hosted Stacey Friday. They’ll be home Tuesday for a contest against Great Heart Northern Oaks.
Four Eagles players were in double digits in Tuesday’s contest after Colton Lutz led the Eagles in scoring with 21 points, Wyatt Bruss and Jack Taylor tallied 14 points apiece and Griffin Freiling dropped in 11.
