The Hounds improve to 11-1 overall and are entered in the Victoria ISD Tournament that started Thursday.

It was a committee of arms that helped to defeat the Tigers as four Greyhounds tossed in the game. Andrew Poole started, followed by Jake Wright, Kalob Sanchez and Xander Cloudy. Sanchez was the pitcher

Sanchez was the pitcher of record when the Hounds scored its 3 runs in the fifth and picks up the win in 2.2 innings of work.

Poole went 3 frames, Wright threw 7 pitches and Cloudy earned the save and threw in the 7th. Poole fanned 4, Sanchez struck out 5 and Cloudy had one K.

BHS outhit the Tigers 11-6 and had three doubles in the game from Cam Johnson, Riley Pechacek and Kalob Sanchez.

Johnson added a single and scored a run, Sanchez picked up an RBI with his double and scored, Galloway singled, Cole Phillips finished with 2 singles, an RBI and a run scored, Tyler Garritano singled, scored and picked up an RBI, Poole singled and pushed in a run, Dylan Perez and Connor Shill both singled and Max Garcia plated a run.
