Every fall, people from around the world come together and perform generous acts of kindness to better their communities and support nonprofits in need. This global movement is called GivingTuesday and takes place on Nov. 28. HCDBM aims to “give hope” by uniting and equipping people with food, resources, and training to transform lives through Christ. Beyond the headlines, our neighbors are struggling with food insecurity and the inability to make ends meet due to the increases in the cost of food, gas and rent. Every day, families, at-risk children, the elderly and disabled have walked through our doors in record numbers.
