Geneva School of Boerne went 2-2 at the Cornerstone Tournament and played Canyon Lake in the Silver Bracket championship and the Lady Hawks were able to edge the Eagles by a point.
Geneva is 5-2 overall and played Vanguard College Prep and Harper this week before taking some time off for the Thanksgiving holidays.
Geneva started off with a loss to Prestonwood Christian, 57-44, on Thursday.
The Eagles bounced back and had a good Friday with both wins coming that day. Geneva beat Bastrop, 65-42, and then defeated Episcopal School of Dallas, 45-38.
That put the Eagles in the Silver Bracket finals where they lost to the Hawks, 53-52.
