BHS hosted the Greyhound Relays last week at Boerne ISD Stadium and it was a strong meet for the Chargers and Greyhounds.
The Champion boys won the event with 216 points and the BHS boys were fourth with 58 points, while on the girls side, the Chargers were first with a 227.5 points and the Lady Hounds placed third with 69 points.
CHS Varsity Boys
Arlis Adickes won the 100 in 11.16, Sawyer Bolli came in 2nd in 23.03, while Corbin Mitchell and Davis Schuessler were 4th and 6th with times of 23.57 and 24.04.
Benjamin Blomqvist won the 400 after clocking in at 52.44, Ranger Lewis was 3rd in 52.64 and David Schuessler came in 5th in 53.60.
Luis Tovar took 1st in the 800 in 2:00, Tovar also came in 2nd in the 1600 with a 4:39.46, Ryan Nereson was 3rd in the 1600 with a 4:44.09, while Nereson also placed 3rd in the 3200 with a 10:26.39 and Colin Breuer came in 4th with a 10:42.55.
Brock Lewis and Benjamin Blomqvist went 1-2 in the 110 hurdles after Lewis turned in a 15.21 and Blomqvist recorded a 15.53. Lewis also won the 300 hurdles after he clocked in at 40.38.
The 4x200 relay of Jackson Liebau, Arlis Adickes, Alex Rodriguez and Corbin Mitchell teamed up for 1st with a 1:30.89, while the 4x400 of Ranger Lewis, Brock Lewis, Sawyer Bolli and Benjamin Blomqvist took 1st with a 3:26.71.
In field events, Brock Lewis won the long jump with a leap of 21-0.25, Hayden Brace was second with a 20-4.75, Connor Warzecha won the shot put with a toss of 49-8.5 and Riley Wampler placed 6th in the shot with a 43-4.
Warzecha and Wampler went 1-2 in the discus with throws of 158-11 and 135-4, Cade Gault placed 3rd in the triple jump with a measurement of 40-6, Benjamin Blomqvist won the high jump with a leap of 5-10, while Luke Rossi and Brooks Jones were 3rd and 4th in the pole vault after they both cleared 13-6.
BHS Varsity Boys
Colby Brown won the 200 with a time of 22.49, Chase Balderas placed 6th in the 3200 with a 10:54.52, McCoy Bruce finished 6th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.68 and Bruce was also 5th in the 300 hurdles after posting a 45.28.
The 4x100 relay of Braden Baize, Charlie Stahl, Cash McPeak and Colby Brown teamed up for 1st with a 43.58, the 4x200 of Baize, McPeak, Stahl and Brown placed 3rd with a 1:33.28, while the 4x400 of Bode Brown, Hunter Freeman, Max Migliozzi and Will French combined for a 3:40.01 for 5th.
Colby Brown came in 5th in the long jump with a leap of 19-9 and Asher Diller took 3rd in the shot with a toss of 45-9.5.
CHS Varsity Girls
Madi Meinke won the 100 with a 12.62 and Ava Godoy was 5th in 13.35 and Godoy was also 3rd in the 200 with a 27.99, while Riley Burkey won the 400 with a time of 1:00.91 and Savannah Wayment was 5th in the 400 with a 1:04.13.
Chachi Gonzales took 1st in the 800 with a 2:11.17 and Erica Harris was 2nd in 2:33.13, while Gonzales also won the 1600 after clocking in at 4:53.26, Grace Flores was 3rd in 5:36.18 and Kamryn Neer took 6th with a 5:48.91.
Gonzales, Kate Williams and Kynley Albright went 1-2-3 in the 3200 with times of 10:54, 11:34 and 12:27.
Addison Hankins clocked in at 15.54 in the 100 hurdles for 2nd and Ainsley Rosenow was 5th with a 17.18, while Hankins placed 2nd in the 300 hurdles with a 46.94 and Rosenow took 4th with a 50.86.
The Lady Chargers won all three relay events after the 4x100 of Madi Meinke, Addison Hankins, Anna Giles and Riley Burkey came in 1st with a 50.02 and the 4x200 of Meinke, Carsyn Bradley, Reagan Burkey and Finley Shanley was 1st with a 1:49.04, while the 4x400 of Reagan Burkey, Riley Burkey, Regan Garcia and Kate Williams teamed up for 1st with a 4:09.
In field events, Anna Giles won the long jump with a jump of 17-0.75, Riley Burkey was 3rd in 16-1.05 and Addison Hankins came in 6th with a leap of 15-6.5. Avery Case was 3rd in the discus with a toss of 98-9, Carsyn Bradley came in 3rd in the triple jump with a 33-11.5 and Savannah Wayment took 6th in the triple jump with a 32-5.5.
Riley Burkey won the high jump after clearing 5-4, Ainsley Rosenow was 3rd at 5-0, Catherine Knox cleared 10-0 in the pole vault for 2nd and Talia Venner was 5th in the event after vaulting 8-6.
BHS Varsity Girls
Samara Koening placed 6th in the 100 dash with a times of 13.50, Mary Marino came in 2nd in the 1600 after clocking in at 5:29.28 and Eleanor Davis was 4th in 5:36.72.
In the 3200, Eleanor Davis finished 4th in the 3200 with a 12:31 and Endie Boddie placed 6th in 13.22.
In the 4x100 relay, Kelsey Hernandez, Riley Scheidt, Mary Marino and Samara Koening teamed up for 5th with a 53.31, the 4x200 of Sophia Brumley, Scheidt, Savannah Seibert and Kassie Lozano combined for a 1:50.61 for 3rd, while the 4x400 of Brumley, Addie Wells, Hayden Chappell and Maddie Morris combined for 5th with a 4:31.67.
In field events, Tori Adams won the shot put with a toss of 41-7 and Ashley Clingman took 4th with a throw of 34-6, while Adams and Clingman went 1-2 in the discus after Adams had a throw of 112-4 and Clingman went 108-4.
Kayuki Warren and Katie Schickedanz tied for 6th in the pole vault after they both cleared 8-0.
Wheel Chair
Champion’s Ephraim Tonn-Bourg won both the 100 and 400 races with times of 18.75 and 1:10.85.
