Champion coach Jonathan Tate recently announced that he will retire at the end of this semester. Tate is the current head coach of both the Chargers cross country and Chargers track and field teams. Tate recently told his runners that he is stepping away when the semester ends in December. The cross country programs had a strong showing in their final meets of the season as the boys earned bronze medals and Elizabeth Leachman won the individual title.
