Crowder concert at the Dog & Pony Grill, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Boerne Radio 103.9FM welcomes Crowder for his first-ever Boerne appearance, hosted by Cibolo Creek Community Church. Crowder will be bringing all the hits along with special guests: toLoveandRescue, and Claire Leslie.

• The Jones CHRISTmas Ranch opens for the holiday season beginning at 6 p.m. at 43360 Interstate 10 West.10. Load up the car and drive through the hills to experience a ranch-sized lighting and musical display that celebrates the reason for the season.
• Evening on Broadway 15th Anniversary Concert Gala from 6-9 p.m. in the Champion High School auditorium. This annual fundraising event features Champion High School choirs and soloists performing music from Broadway. Special guest performance by Voss Middle School choir. Preconcert reception featuring Broadway-themed gourmet hors d’oeuvres and beverages created by the Boerne ISD culinary arts program.

• The Greater Boerne Chamb er of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Boerne Post Haus, 615 S. Main St., to celebrate the packaging and shipping business’s opening.
• The Greater Boerne Chamb er of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday for Life Change Centers of Texas at the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, 121 S. Main St., to celebrate the nonprofit organization’s opening.
• Sankt Martin Walk, PHPL Library amphitheater, 6-8 p.m. The Champion High School German Club is sponsoring this walk to support the Boerne Animal Care Services. $2 to participate and walkers will receive cocoa and cookies at the end.

• The Greater Boerne Chamb er of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Boerne Star, 215A Water St., to celebrate the publication’s new location.
• Join Urban Tree Co. for an Open House, at 137 W. Specht Road, from 3-7 p.m. The open house will include a sawmill and kiln demo, a shop tour, and slab sale.

• Boerne Handmade Market at St Peter’s Cana Ballroom, 202 W. Kronkosky St., Friday and Saturday, the largest market of its kind in south Texas. Jewelry, apparel, leather goods, toys, home decor and art to handmade candles, food, drink, and more -- every item unique and handcrafted. Friday’s VIP hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Saturday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday at Schneider Engineering, 191 Menger Springs Parkway, to celebrate the engineering company’s rebranding.
• Family Night Hike, Cibolo Nature Center, 5-6:30 p.m. Hike the trails at sunset and discover the various living organisms that call the Cibolo home. Family night hikes are great ways to explore the Cibolo and for children to see what lives in the park in the dark. Hike is suitable for small children too.

• 12th annual YMCA Turkey Trot, beginning at 7:30 a.m. in Main Plaza. The 5K and 10K take place on the same course except that the 10K runners run the course twice. Registration: athleteguild. com.
• Crop Hunger Walk starting at 9 a.m. at the St. Mark Family Life Center, 208 W. Bandera Road. The one-mile fundraiser aims to support the end of hunger, one step at a time. This event is complete with activities, prizes, refreshments and other fun things.
