NOVEMBER 4

• Third annual FCA Fall Forward 5K, Main Plaza, 8 a.m. This running event benefits the San Antonio area Fellowship of Christian Athletes and attempts to bridge the gap between all running communities. Sign up at www.runsignup.com

• Christmas Craft Bazaar at The Center, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Shop for handmade treasures for Christmas this year. Goodies as well: Christmas decorations, jellies, macramé, baked goods, jewelry, and more. No entry fee.

NOVEMBER 7

• Head over to The Center for a Veterans Benefit Awareness Fair between 11 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be lots of educational resources for veterans. Details at 210-287-2659.

• The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at The Jones Christmas Ranch, 43360 I-10 W, to celebrate a ribbon cutting of Shine Bright Ministries.

• The Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at The Rill, 518 River Road, to celebrate the opening of the new restaurant.

• The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at Aloha Prime Alterations, 28550 I-10 W, to celebrate the business’s new location.

NOVEMBER 9

• Kendall County Retired Teachers’ Association November luncheon and meeting, luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. and meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Program speaker will be Betty Fox. Check email for details on location and on how to make luncheon reservations.

• Diva Night, Hill Country Mile, 5-9 p.m. Come along to the best“Girls Night Out” in the Hill Country. This always popular evening will be bursting with everything you love from your favorite shops and restaurants, including later shopping hours, cocktails, delicious bites, music, and more.

NOVEMBER 10

• Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery and Frame Shop’s Holiday Show and Sale runs 4-8 p.m. at 919 Highway 46 Suite 102 in Boerne. Come enjoy food, music, an open bar and a meet-”and-greet” with gallery and guest artists. The show this year will take place inside and outside.

• Die Künstler von Fredericksburg Art Show & Sale, Historic St Joseph’s Halle at 212 W. San Antonio Street in Fredericksburg. •Veterans Day ceremony,Veterans Plaza, 11 a.m. to noon. Boerne’s Private Bruno PhillipVeterans of ForeignWars Post 688 and Captain Mark “Tyler”Voss American Legion Post 313 will conduct a Joint Veterans Day Observance to pay tribute to local area men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Veterans, families, and friends of veterans are welcome.

• Crowder Live Concert at Dog & Pony Grill, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Boerne Radio 103.9 FM welcomes Crowder live in concert at his first-ever Boerne appearance hosted by Cibolo Creek Community Church. Crowder will be bringing all the hits along with special guests, toLoveandRescue and Claire Leslie.

NOVEMBER 14

• Texas Hill Country Nurses Honor Guard meeting at Unity of the Hill Country in Kerrville. Meeting begins with a brown bag dinner at 6 p.m., with the business meeting scheduled at 6:30 p.m. The Nurses Honor Guard pays tribute to all levels of licensed nursing personnel at their funeral/ memorial services, or a living tribute can be made for those colleagues who are still with us.
