The 5A state meet is set for this Friday, Nov. 3, at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. The girls compete at 8:30 a.m. and the boys run at 9:10 a.m.

The Champion teams both claimed the Region IV-5A titles in Corpus Christi, while Charger sophomore Elizabeth Leachman ran away with the individual title in the 5A girls race.

The Boerne High boys were second in the 4A regional meet in Corpus Christi to qualify for state. Also, Lady Hound Eleanor Davis punched her ticket to state after she qualified as an individual runner.

The top four teams at regionals and top 10 runners not on an advancing team head to state.

This year’s 4A state meet will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, in Round Rock at Old Settler’s Park. Davis runs at 11:40 a.m. and the boys race at 12:10 p.m.
