Lady Hounds tripped up by Antonian

Boerne High took a break from its district volleyball schedule and hosted perennial power Antonian Tuesday at Greyhound Gym.

The Lady Apaches won in straight sets, 25-14, 25-16, 25-16, and drops Boerne to 20-16 overall. The Lady Greyhounds returned to distarict play Friday by hosting Wimberley.

BHS hosts Navarro Tuesday in a key match.

Ava Rocchio led the team in kills with 10, Paige Stegall added 6 kills and Ceci Theriot finished with 4 kills.

Stegall and Holly Reeder both had 1 block apiece, Calynn Ramos tallied 18 assists, Adyson Hudson recorded a team-high 27 digs, Kinsley Sawyer chipped in with 13 digs, Presley Mullins added 9 digs and Ramos had 5 digs.
