Chargers drop match at New Braunfels Canyon

The Boerne Champion volleyball was on the road Tuesday and dropped a district match to New Braunfels Canyon.

NBC claimed the threeset sweep, 25-7, 25-21, 25-13, and drops the Lady Chargers to 20-16 overall and 4-6 in district.

The Chargers are currently in sixth place in District 26-5A looked to make up some ground Friday after they hosted Wagner.

Three different Chargers finished with 5 kills after Raylynn Pitts, Cassidy Breuer and Briley Wolff all tallied 5 kills.

Wolff had the team’s only ace, Taylor Fenton recorded the team’s only block, Addy Schiffelbein came up with a team- high 8 digs, Samantha Calderon tallied 6 digs, while Pitts, Ryann Michalec and Azteca Crawford all chipped in with 4 digs.

Crawford led the team in assists with 11 assists and Calderon had 2 assists.
