Boerne Boo! coming to Heath Library Oct.
21 The city of Boerne Parks and Recreation Department and Boerne Public Library hope you will join them on October 21 for a frighteningly good time and celebrate at the eighth annual Boerne Boo!
The collaborative effort between the two departments is a free family favorite event. This year the event will take place 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Patrick Heath Public Library, 451 N. Main St.
Activities will include arts and crafts, trick or treating, carnival games, music, and lots of candy and prizes. There will also be a costume contest for kids, adults – and pets -- so come dressed to scare and prepare to have a “really ghoul time.”
Food trucks will also be set up with food and beverage for purchase.
The parade of costumes contest is slated for 6-6:45 p.m. Contest winners will be announced between 6:45 and 7 p.m., with prizes awarded to the winners.
