LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

February 11

8:27 a.m., 200 block Charger Blvd. - A woman was upset about traffic near the high school.

10:08 a.m., Main Street and Bandera Road - A woman was rear ended by a black Jeep while sitting at a red light at the intersection. She tried to follow the vehicle but lost it in about five minutes.

3:54 p.m., 134 Menger Springs - An employee at the Boerne Methodist emergency room reported a patient walked out of the hospital with an IV still in their arm.

4:08 p.m., 600 block W. Bandera Rd. - A property owner wanted a man selling flags on their property removed.

6:09 p.m., 1381 S. Main St. - A man took a photo of a woman shopping at Walmart. She tried to follow him to confront him, but he took off towards the back of the store.

6:16 p.m., 1345 S. Main St. - A woman was seen assaulting a man while the two were fighting over a child. The woman was heard yelling at the man to give her the child.

11:28 p.m., 850 Johns Rd. - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

Officers also conducted 38 security checks, made 12 traffic stops, assisted the public 21 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked 12 non-injury accidents and one reckless driver.

February 12

3:12 a.m., Main Street and Johns Road - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

9:23 a.m., 1406 S. Main St. - Another individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

10:43 a.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd. - An H-E-B employee wanted to file 11 theft cases and had everything ready for officers to pick up.

9:56 p.m., 200 block Aspen - A man was arrested after driving into a stationary vehicle.

11:33 p.m., 500 block Hickman - A man was upset about a party on his street he wasn’t invited to.

Officers also conducted 17 security checks, made 16 traffic stops, assisted the public 13 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked five false alarms, fine non-injury accidents and two reckless drivers.

February 13

6:09 a.m., 801 River Rd. - A woman reported her boyfriend may have overdosed on heroin. First responders administered three rounds of Narcan to save him, but the results of the response are unclear.

1:31 p.m., 545 MM I-10 W. - Officers arrested a man after Bexar County officers notified BPD of a vehicle unable to maintain lanes heading down the interstate. Officers noted the vehicle almost had a head-on collision after passing Tractor Supply in Boerne. The man was driving with a woman in the passenger seat and a child in the vehicle. He was arrested after a field sobriety test.

3:36 p.m., 1381 S. Main St. - A seemingly drunk man received a criminal trespass warning at Walmart. He was trying to return an item that wasn’t in their system and became unruly with staff.

Officers also conducted 21 security checks, made 20 traffic stops, assisted the public 14 times and worked three false alarms and two non-injury accidents.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

February 11

3:35 a.m., 134 Menger Springs - A woman told a nurse in the Methodist ER that she was assaulted earlier that day, but she wouldn’t give the nurse an address of where the assault took place.

1:28 p.m., 30 block Spanish Pass Rd. - A man said his neighbor was threatening him and his wife. He told deputies they received a voicemail from their neighbor saying they better not step on his property anymore or they won’t walk off.

2:41 p.m., 604 Esperanza - A mother went to the sheriff’s office to report her son was punched in the face at Herff Elementary.

2:51 p.m., 100 block FM 3351 S. - A man was walking in traffic, smoking a cigarette and talking to himself. Deputies initially observed no violations of law but arrested him when they realized he had a warrant out of Bexar County.

Deputies also made 15 traffic stops, assisted the public nine times, removed a traffic hazard and worked one false alarm, three non-injury accidents, one animal call and four reckless drivers.

February 12

9:23 a.m., 1400 block S. Main St. - An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

11:52 a.m., 200 block Highland Woods - A man was having issues with an employee he fired.

2:20 p.m., Oak Trail - A man was upset his personal information was posted on Facebook without his permission.

3:18 p.m., 900 block Adler St. - A home caught fire. While someone was initially reported as still being in the house, dispatch quickly reported the only occupant of the resident got out safely. Additional firefighting units were requested to get the fire under control, but it seemed to be contained by about 4:30 p.m. that day.

3:57 p.m., 100 block Cordillera Trace - A team of horses took to the main streets of the neighborhood, strolling toward the club house. It took over an hour to contain the five horses, with one being lassoed by 4:09 p.m.

Deputies also made 43 traffic stops, assisted the public 11 times, removed three traffic hazards and worked two false alarms, two animal calls and five reckless drivers.

February 13

1:31 p.m., 545 MM I-10 W. - Deputies arrested a woman after Bexar County officers reported she couldn’t maintain lanes on the interstate in her white Tahoe while her small child was riding in the back seat.

1:32 p.m., 200 block Post Oak - Officers took a man into custody after he and another man stopped and asked a woman if she would sell them her husband’s older model Ford Ranger. The man left his number with the woman for when her husband got home.

Deputies also made 20 traffic stops, assisted the public seven times, removed two traffic hazards and worked one false alarm, one non-injury accident, one animal call and three reckless drivers.
