LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. OCTOBER 18

1:24 a.m., 100 block of Balcones Bend – A caller reported a vehicle that was creeping around the neighborhood the prior evening. The caller requested law enforcement to come to the location.

7:19 a.m., 900 block of Blanco Road – A caller reported she was being harassed via a social media platform by a law enforcement officer from a neighboring county.

10:38 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported two males and a female, all juveniles, who were walking past the school’s football field during school hours.

11:19 a.m., 100 block of Whisper Way – A caller reported a trespasser on the caller’s property who was attempting to get into his residence.

11:58 a.m., 32000 block of W. I-10 – A concerned caller reported a male who was laying on the side of the road with a black hat on.

6:17 p.m., at Main Street/Pfeiffer Road – A caller reported a decommissioned police vehicle was parked in an odd location for the second time that week. The caller said the driver of the vehicle had tailgated his wife and shaken his fist at her.

OCTOBER 19

11:53 a.m., 100 block of Waterfall Court – A caller reported contractors cut across her property and damaged the property. Later, the caller called back to report the contractors were there, trespassing again.

5:56 p.m., 700 block of Oak Park Drive – A caller reported a black dog without a collar or name tag was wandering around the neighborhood.

11:44 p.m., 500 block of River Road – A caller reported an intoxicated individual who was in a physical altercation. At one point, someone involved was in a headlock. No medical attention was needed. A male was detained and taken into custody.

OCTOBER 20

6:44 a.m., 700 block of Johns Road – A male was taken into custody and detained after a traffic stop. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.

6:43 a.m., 1200 block of S Main Street – A caller reported that while she was in the shower, someone stole her debit card. Around 10 minutes later, the caller told dispatch she located the card.

10:12 a.m., 200 block of Fawn Valley Drive – A caller reported a vehicle drove by and the driver threatened the caller. The caller had been recording the incident because of an ongoing conflict between the two parties.

10:47 a.m., 200 block of Fawn Valley Drive – A caller reported his vehicle had been keyed and his tires had been slashed during the night. Later in the afternoon, the caller told dispatch a suspicious vehicle had been driving around the neighborhood. The caller suspected the two were connected.

1:01 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported a male who was caught trespassing. The male was detained and taken into custody.

11:04 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – Dispatch noted a male was yelling and threatening a caller. The male was threatening to damage the caller’s vehicle if she parked in a certain location. The caller was vaguely familiar with the male.

OCTOBER 21

10:46 a.m., 200 block of Lohmann St. – A caller reported his vehicle’s tires had been slashed.

11:04 a.m., 100 block of Dovetail St. – A caller reported three dogs had gotten out and were ready to paw-ty. Animal control officers made the location, broke up the party, and returned the dogs home.

4:28 p.m., 200 block of Parkview Terrace – A caller reported her neighbor was yelling at her, despite not knowing who the neighbor was. The neighborhood then came over and began filming the caller’s house. A second caller reported a disgruntled woman in the area, saying harmful things.

6:02 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported her prescriptions, some of which were controlled medicines, had been stolen while she was out and about. The caller provided dispatch with the locations she had been to.

6:45 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – A caller reported a bike had been stolen off their RV while in a parking lot.

OCTOBER 22

1:07 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A concerned caller reported hearing a child scream followed by a loud thump and silence. The caller provided what they believed to be the location of the incident. Law enforcement came to the location and did not notice any wrongdoing.

2:18 a.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – A staff member reported a male who had come in for medical treatment after being assaulted at a party.

8:04 a.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle – A caller reported someone had egged her house the previous night and a window had been broken.

10:16 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported a shoplifter was being detained in their office. The employee added that this was not the first such occurrence with this individual.

2:48 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main St. – An employee reported a female was caught shoplifting. Three additional females were detained. All four females were taken into custody by law enforcement.

OCTOBER 18

1:31 a.m. 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A caller reported his brother took a vehicle without the caller’s permission. The caller disclosed that his brother had a history of incarceration. The caller did not press charges at the time.

8:26 a.m., 100 block of Sentido – A caller wanted to report two appliances had been stolen from inside homes presently under construction.

9:23 a.m., 100 block of Deer Path – A caller reported she mistakenly gave a scammer all of her information. The caller had already called her bank and technological accounts. Luckily, the scammer had not stolen any money yet.

10:30 a.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller wanted to press charges for assault against an employee of his.

11:24 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A concerned citizen reported an 18-wheeler was leaking fuel. The caller knocked on the door of the vehicle and no one answered. The fuel was spreading and going underneath other vehicles, adding to the caller’s concern. Comfort FD was called to the scene and handled the matter.

OCTOBER 19

3:56 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a trucker stole a tire and then left the premises. The caller provided dispatch with a description of the semitrucks involved.

10:45 a.m., Stone Wall Drive – An employee reported a male who was sitting in a vehicle parked at the school. The employee had tried speaking with the male but he refused. The caller explained that the male had also been there the previous day.

1:13 p.m., 100 block of Spanish Pass Road – A caller reported he had loaned a friend money for the purchase of some vehicles, and the friend was refusing to pay him back.

3:05 p.m., 600 block of Front Street – A caller reported a dog in a vehicle that appeared to be unoccupied. While the caller was speaking with dispatch, the vehicle’s owner returned to the car.

3:43 p.m., 300 block of Fuller Drive – A caller requested assistance from law enforcement with a client. The caller had provided a service to the client, who was now refusing to speak to the caller.

6:39 p.m., 200 block of Mill Dam Road – A caller reported possibly seeing a drone above his house the previous day. The caller was concerned someone was doing surveillance on his property.

10:00 p.m., on Vista Real Avenue – A caller reported someone had purchased an iPad with the caller’s credit card. The caller also provided the shipping address, which was in Boerne, for the purchase.

OCTOBER 20

7:31 a.m., at FM 289/I-10 – A caller reported a large, exotic animal with antlers under the highway. Animal control was contacted to check out the animal.

10:44 a.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a trespasser on his property. The alleged trespasser’s vehicle was also reported to be on the property. Law enforcement found that it was a government trapper, not a trespasser.

12:53 p.m., 10000 block of N. Highway 87 – Three 18-wheelers were reported to be on the side of the road. The caller noted that it appeared as though one of the trucks may have overheated and caught on fire. Comfort FD was contacted and came to the scene.

2:49 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported a dog that had lunged at a vendor at the location. The dog’s owner then threatened the vendor.

6:08 p.m., 200 block of Whitworth Road – A caller reported that a male deliberately backed into the caller’s vehicle. A second caller reported a verbal altercation occurred before the male left the scene.

11:30 p.m., 900 block of N. Main St. – A female was detained, taken into custody and to the jail after a traffic stop.

OCTOBER 21

1:44 a.m., on N. Highway 87 – An employee reported finding a hypodermic needle, possibly containing drugs, at the entrance to the location.

10:23 a.m., 100 block of Live Oak St. – A caller reported two dogs had been galivanting around the neighborhood for about a week. The caller said one of the dogs had attempted to bite his granddaughter, understandably adding to his displeasure.

11:54 a.m., 37000 block of E. I-10 – Law enforcement attempted to pull over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop. However, the driver did not immediately respond. Eventually the vehicle pulled over, the driver was detained, and taken into custody.

2:28 p.m., on Knoll Springs/Upper Balcones Road – A driver reported a vehicle had run off the road while trying to avoid another vehicle. The other vehicle was not hit; however, the driver’s vehicle had been left not drivable. EMS was required for one of the occupants of the vehicle.

5:30 p.m., on River Mountain Drive - A caller reported someone had cut a fence and poached one of their deer. Law enforcement came to the location and handed over the matter to the Game Warden.

6:38 p.m., 1100 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported between eight and 10 goats roaming around by Black Board BBQ.

OCTOBER 22

9:01 a.m., Blaschke Road – A caller reported someone who was trespassing and living on the caller’s property. Law enforcement put the caller in contact with someone who could evict the individual.

9:38 a.m., at FM 473/FM 474 – A caller reported four elk “playing” in the roadway.

11:42 a.m., on Highway 46/Los Indios Ranch Road – A caller reported finding a small chihuahua who he was unfortunately unable to keep.

12:06 p.m., 200 block of Fawn Valley Drive – A woman reported a vehicle had pulled up to her house and the driver had told the woman he was going to kill her husband. The woman said a male had slashed their vehicle tires and keyed their vehicle the previous week. Law enforcement located the male, who was subsequently detained.

4:44 p.m., 500 block of Sunflower – A caller reported four young boys had taken a baseball bat to the vending machine and had taken out all the snacks.
