Geneva golfers capture first at TAPPS Match Play Golf Showcase in Glen Rose

The Geneva School of Boerne boys golf team recently played at the TAPPS Match Play Golf Showcase in Glen Rose and took first place at the event.

The team went undefeated in the five matches and picked up wins by the score of 5-0, 4-1, 4-1, 4-1 and 3-2.

Jack Harden went undefeated in his matches and was recognized by the host by being named to the all-tournament team.

Jace Hulett went 4 and 1 in his matches and also landed on the all-tournament team.

Colton Lutz earned three crucial points for the team and was selected for the all-tournament team.

Noah Lee and Winn Crawford each went 4 and 1 in their individual matches.

The boys posted a total of 20 points to beat the closest competitor, Fort Worth All Saints (also undefeated in matches) by 1/2 point to earn the title.
