Boerne Blaze to hold Duathlon Oct. 28
The Boerne community is invited to come out and support members of the Boerne Blaze Special Olympics team as they compete in this year’s Duathlon.
The Duathlon is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, at Boerne ISD Stadium, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Local athletes will run, bike and run and the community is encouraged to cheer them on.
The event is being hosted by the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) for their Ultimate Gift Project.
There will also be a raffle for a chance to win a twonight complimentary stay at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. (Must be present to win and the drawing will be held at the end of the event).
Boerne Blaze is a local organization whose mission is to provide local special athletes a safe and supportive environment to enhance their physical skills through sports training and events and to expand awareness in the community.
