Eagles fall at home to Austin Veritas
The Geneva School of Boerne hosted Austin Veritas last Thursday at home to end its three-match home streak.
Even though the Eagles were at home, the Austin school found a way to win three straight games after the Eagles took the first set.
Veritas claimed the match, 21-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-17. Geneva is 14-14-2 overall and 3-3 in district.
The Eagles hit the road Tuesday to visit Schertz John Paul II and then play at Hill Country Christian Oct. 10 before beginning play at the district tournament scheduled to start Oct. 12 and continue through Oct. 24.
