Water polo teams play Clark, Health Careers
After a trip to Houston to play in a tournament, the Champion water polo teams were back in the water last Saturday as they continued league play with two district matches at the Northside Aquatics Center.
Champion took on Health Careers and Clark and the boys team swept the matches, while the girls split.
The Charger boys canned Clark, 22-13, and handled Health Careers, 12-3.
The Lady Chargers were defeated by Clark, 12-4, and returned later to edge Health Careers, 10-9.
The boys improved its record to 17-3 overall and 5-0 in district, while the girls are 10-10 overall and 3-2.
Both Champion teams continue league play this weekend with matches against Marshall and Brandeis.
