Deer play district, non-district matches

The Comfort High volleyball team played a couple of matches recently and dropped both.

Comfort was defeated by Blanco in district play and then fell to Sonora in a non-district match, both in straight sets.

With the two losses the Deer fall to 13-10-1 overall and 1-2 in District 5-3A play. They hosted Brady Friday and tangle with Llano Tuesday.

Blanco won Tuesday’s match, 25-21, 25-21, 25-12.
