The Boerne Startlettes and Silver Stars and the Champion Charms dance teams earned several awards at the 2022 Showmakers of America Regional Competition last month.
The JV Silver Stars won Sweepstakes and a judges award; showmanship awards for military, pom and jazz; choreography awards for military and pom; second place jazz; first place military; third place pom; second place overall; Line of Champions (some of the highest overall scores for JV in the contest).
The varsity Starlettes won Sweepstakes and a judges award; showmanship awards for jazz and pom; technique award for jazz; precision award for jazz; second place jazz; second place Hip Hop; second place pom; second place overall; second place officer ensemble; third place duet (Olivia Strange and Maysen Lester); superior solos, April Hurley, Lizzie Johnson-Clarke, Victoria Niemeier and Katya Stewart.
