Geneva student best in dance competition
Geneva School of Boerne eighth grade student Jared Bass (center) took first place for Overall Top Student in August at the 2023 South American Open Dancesport Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He placed first in all but one of his 134 smooth and rhythm dance entries, dancing with his mother, Ann Bass (far left), as well as his junior partner and teacher. Bass finished second for Overall Top Student. Jared and his mother posed at the Buenos Aires competition with their dance coach and partners.
