Boerne Concert Band plays
The Boerne Concert Band presents “A Night on Broadway,” its free concert for the fall season, beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 in the Boerne High School auditorium, 1 Greyhound Lane. Area music – and film – buffs are invited to attend and hear some of the tunes that made Hollywood famous including: The Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Jurassic Park, The King and I, South Pacific, The Wizard of Oz, The Magnificent Seven and others.
The Boerne Concert Band, directed by Larry Schmidt, is composed of musicians from all walks of life and from all over the Texas Hill Country, including lifelong musicians, middle, high school and college students, veterans and band directors.
