Lady Texans top Lady Hounds
After taking a break from 27-4A volleyball action last Friday with a match against Clemens at home, the Boerne High volleyball team returned to district play Tuesday with a road trip to Wimberley.
The Lady Texans had a strong outing against the Lady Hounds and won the match in straight sets, 25- 10, 25-18, 25-14.
BHS slips to 17-13 overall and 1-2 in district. They had another tough one Friday when they visited Navarro. They’ll play at Canyon Lake Tuesday for their third road match in a row.
Ava Rocchio led the team in kills with 8 and also came up with a block Tuesday, Calynn Ramos finished with 3 kills, 9 assists and 8 digs, Paige Stegall added 3 kills, 1.5 blocks and tallied 4 digs, Haley Wheeler finished with 8 digs, Adyson Hudson paced the team in digs with 18, while Kinsley Sawyer chipped in with 5 digs.
