Boerne running teams race at Islander Splash
After a week off, the Boerne High cross-country teams were back at it last Saturday at the Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi Islander Splash and one of the BHS squads captured first place.
It’s a big meet that draws teams from all over. It’ll also be the site of this year’s Region IV meets for all classifications later in the season so last week’s meet was a good time to get a sneak peek at the course.
BHS is scheduled to race again this weekend at the McNeil Invitational at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, site of this year’s state cross country meet, also another chance at a sneak peek of the course.
