Boerne High took a break from district volleyball action and hosted Clemens last Friday afternoon in a non-district match.
The contest was moved up to 5 p.m. to accommodate for Friday’s homecoming game later that night.
Clemens played well and defeated the Lady Greyhounds in straight sets, 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.
BHS slips to 17-12 overall and resumed district play Tuesday when they traveled to Wimberley. The Lady Hounds are home Friday to host Navarro, 5 p.m.
Kynsie Jones and Adyson Hudson both dropped in 2 aces, Paige Stegall led the team in kills with 8, Ava Rocchio added 7 kills, while Jones and Ceci Theriot recorded 2 kills each.
Rocchio came up with 2 blocks, Stegall had 1 block, Calynn Ramos finished with 21 assists and 13 digs, while Hudson led the team in digs with 21.
Kinsley Sawyer added 7 digs, while Rocchio, Presley Mullins and Haley Wheeler all chipped in with 4 digs.
