Boerne Champion’s water polo teams played district and non-district matches last weekend at the Northside Aquatics Center.
The Chargers took on Brandeis in a district match and also played a non-district contest against Churchill.
The Champion boys beat Brandeis, 14-4, while the Champion girls lost to the Lady Broncos, 11-3.
In their match against Churchill in a battle of Chargers vs. Chargers, both Champion teams won.
The Champion boys crushed Churchill, 21-10, while the Champion girls topped Churchill, 11-8.
It’ll be road trip time for the Charger water polo teams this weekend. The Champion boys will play at Dallas Strake Jesuit and take on Strake Jesuit and Foster, while the Lady Chargers play against Brazoswood and Foster.
After last weekend, the Champion boys were 11-0 overall and 4-0 in district, while the Lady Chargers were 9-2 overall and 3-1 in district. For more on water polo, see the Star.
