Boerne High went toe to toe with the Ingram Tom Moore volleyball team Tuesday night in Ingram and the match went a full five sets before a winner was determined.

The Lady Warriors prevailed in the fifth set to take the win, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20, 23-25, 15-9.

BHS drops to 16-10 overall and began district play Friday night at Davenport.

Adyson Hudson put up some big numbers and finished with 35 digs and 5 aces, Kinsley Sawyer dropped in 2 aces, had 4 digs and 4 assists, Ava Rocchio continues to play well and turned in a double-double after she tallied 19 kills and 17 digs to go with 4 blocks, Aubree Stegall chipped in with 10 kills, a block and 4 digs, Calynn Ramos came up with 35 assists, 11 digs and 3 blocks, Haley Wheeler added 13 digs and Kynsie Jones chipped in with 6 digs and 3 kills.

NOTES: BHS coach Tisha Pettibon was facing former Greyhounds coach Troy Errington, now with Ingram. In fact, Pettibon succeeded Errington as Boerne’s volleyball coach in the fall of 2009 after Errington had moved over to Champion the year before to open the school.
