The Boerne High cross country varsity teams held their own against 5A and 6A teams at last week’s season-opening meet in Castroville at the Medina Valley Panthers Invitational.
The BHS boys took first place and the Lady Hounds were second as they ran in the largest classification, 5A-6A. Both raced again this weekend at the FEAST Invitational.

The Boerne boys tallied 66 points to win the race, Lytle came in second by two points (68) and Brandeis was third (120) in the field of 20 teams.
