Boerne High School and Boerne Champion High School were again named two of the best public high schools in the San Antonio Area by U.S News and World Report Champion ranked no. 12 and Boerne no. 23.
Champion was ranked the third-best comprehensive, or non-magnet high school, on the list while Boerne is the 10th-best.
“To have both Champion and Boerne ranked among the best high schools in the area once again is a tremendous honor, as well as a testament campus administration, teachers, and said Boerne Superintendent Thomas Price. It is a secret Boerne ISD is consistently not locally but across the state, as an exemplary school district. We are a reflection of our community, and we are the best because our community is the best,” Price added.
The publication ranked nearly 19,000 schools, focusing on college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, undeserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rates.
“Congratulations to our high school principals, Beto Hinojosa and Shane Wilson, as well as their amazing students, parents, and staff for this wonderful recognition,” Price said.
“It is no secret that Boerne ISD is consistently recognized, not just locally but the state, as an exemplary school district.”
Dr. Thomas Price, Boerne ISD superintendent
