Boerne High played seven matches and posted a 4-3 mark at the Godley volleyball tournament to finish in fourth place in a field of 24 teams at the event held in the Dallas area last weekend.
It was Boerne’s final regular- season tournament of the year. The Lady Greyhounds are 15-8 overall and played Floresville Tuesday, the No. 4 ranked 4A team in the state.
At the tournament last weekend, the Lady Greyhounds swept Sweetwater, 25-13, 25-15; beat Everman, 25-18, 25-8; lost to Fort Worth Paschal, 25-23, 25-19; topped Mansfield Timberview, 25-14, 26-24; defeated Paradise, 25-12, 25-16; lost to Odessa Permian, 25-14, 19-25, 25-18 and was beaten by host Godley, 25-13, 25-20.
