Lady Hounds hammer Holmes in three sets

Boerne High breezed past Holmes Tuesday in a non-district volleyball match in San Antonio.

The Lady Hounds swept the Lady Huskies and the margin of victory in each set increased as the match progressed. BHS won 25-20, 25-17, 25-8 and improved to 6-3 overall. The Lady Hounds will co-host the Boerne ISD Tournament this weekend that started Friday and continues through Saturday.

In Tuesday’s match, Aubree Stegall and Paige Stegall both finished with 9 kills and Ava Rocchio added 8 kills. Kynsie Jones recorded 4 aces, Paige Stegall finished with 2.5 blocks, while Hannah Yost and Rocchio tallied 2 blocks apiece.

Calynn Ramos led the team in assists with 15, Kinsley Sawyer added 11 assists, while Adyson Hudson registered 15 digs and Haley Wheeler and Rocchio both contributed 11 digs.
