SAN ANTONIO – The Champion boys and girls water polo teams both opened their 2023 seasons by playing in the Northside Waterpalooza tournament held last Friday and Saturday in San Antonio and each Charger squad went undefeated to start the year at 6-0.
Both Champion teams are off until Aug. 26 when they’ll play Reagan and Alamo Heights at Northside.
The Charger defeated Sotomayor, Health Careers, Marshall, Anderson, Taft, Harlan and Churchill Champion played three matches on Friday and three on Saturday.
