Geneva School of Boerne volleyball opened its 2023 season with a road trip to Ft. Worth to participate in the Spikedown Tournament last weekend.
The Eagles played eight matches and returned with a record of 3-3-2. The team finished second in the Emerald Bracket, while Eagles players Emily Coultress and Lilly Kaiser were both All-Tournament selections.
Geneva is off until this weekend when they play in the Boerne ISD
The Geneva volleyball team opened its season in Ft. Worth last weekend and finished second in its division.

At the tourney in Ft. Worth, each match was two games regardless of the outcome, so if the teams split their first two sets, it ended in a tie.
Geneva defeated Newman Academy, 25-11, 25-21, Lake Country Christian JV, 25-19, 25-21 and Bishop Dunn, 25-20, 25-14.
The Eagles lost to Southwest Christian, 25-1425, 25- 13, St. Dominic, 25-21, 25-17-25 and The Woodlands Christian Academy, 25-20, 25-18.
They tied Oakridge, 21-25, 19-25 and Christ Academy, 25-19, 16-25.
