The high school volleyball season starts this week and teams from Boerne Champion, Boerne High, Geneva School of Boerne will be in action.
Also, the high school team tennis and water polo seasons kick off at the end of the week.

Volleyball
The Lady Chargers were at Fredericksburg Monday and will play in the Abilene Tournament this weekend. They are at MacArthur next Tuesday and then finally play at home next weekend when they help co-host the Boerne ISD Tournament, Aug. 18-19.
Boerne High hosted Comfort and Providence in a Dual match Tuesday at Greyhound Gym. The Lady Hounds are at the Northside Tournament this weekend, play at Holmes next Tuesday and help co-host the Boerne ISD Tournament, Aug. 18-19.
The Eagles of Geneva open their season this weekend at the Spikedown Tournament and then will participate in the Boerne ISD Tournament next weekend, Aug. 18-19.
Comfort visited BHS Tuesday for a Dual match with the Lady Hounds and Providence and will play in the Natalia Tournament this weekend.
The Deer host Center Point next Tuesday and are entered in the Charlotte Tournament next weekend.
Team Tennis
The Boerne ISD team tennis programs are scheduled to open their seasons this weekend.
The Chargers visit Wimberley Friday for a 4 p.m. match and the Greyhounds host Uvalde at the BHS tennis courts Friday at 4 p.m.
Water polo
The Champion boys and girls water polo teams will make a splash starting this weekend at the NISD Waterpalooza tournament at the Northside Natatorium.
The tourney is scheduled for Friday and Saturday in San Antonio.
