“Half Baked” follows the uproarious journey of the Allen brothers and their wives as they embark on their brilliant retirement plan, only to encounter a series of hilarious shenanigans along the way.
Retired brothers Jay and Sonny Allen, along with their wives Martha and Veronica, decide to open a cafe in central Florida. But as the business starts to struggle, their dream of a peaceful retirement begins to slip away, and their nest egg starts to dry up. In a bid to generate some much needed cash, they resort to drastic measures that involve murder for life insurance money, launching podcasts, and even baking cannabis into the appetizers to “stimulate” business.
However, things take a hilarious turn when Martha’s old boyfriend, detective Marty Minkoff, and a forty-something Latvian loan shark named Nadia, who Jay owes money to, unexpectedly arrive on the scene, complicating matters further. Adding to the comedic mix is a twenty-something millennial who’s never heard of Elvis Presley, yet remarkably sounds and acts exactly like him. With all these quirky characters in the mix, you can bet on an evening filled with laughter and unexpected twists. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of the uproarious “Half Baked” at Boerne Community Theatre, 907 E. Blanco Road in Boerne. Order tickets today at: https://bit.ly/44XVLdx.
